Skull Base Tumors

All skull tumors have one thing in common: they are a mass that is located next to or involves the skull bones. This mass usually develops near the bottom of the brain or behind the eyes, nose, and ears. There are a variety of skull base tumors. They usually grow inside the skull, nose, or sinuses, but some grow outside. Depending on the type, they can be benign or malignant. Symptoms of skull base tumors vary and may develop slowly over time.
